Company History
Gardner’s Auction was founded in 1960 in Hamilton, Montana. In 1971, the Kalispell office and in 1974 the Missoula office opened.

Over the years we have developed an aggressive and experienced auction team through honest, competent, and knowledgeable service.

Our team consists of past Presidents & Board of Directors of the Montana Auctioneer’s Association, We are active in both local and state activities as well as avid supporters of our communities.

We have conducted auctions for FDIC, the Small Business Administration, the State of Montana, U.S. Marshall Service, The University of Montana, the U.S. Bankruptcy Courts, Insurance Companies, municipalities, as well as private entities, businesses, attorneys and others.

Notable auctions receiving national attention includes the “Marcus Daly” Estate Auction (Marcus Daly was a famous Montana copper king), the “Tobin-Power” Mansion Auction (T.C. Powers was Montana’s second Territorial Senator.)

Currently we conduct approximately 100 auctions a year between our Missoula, Hamilton and Kalispell office.
